ZTE F660 V9 XPON Dual Band Router – Talisa Technologies

Searching for the ZTE F660 V9 router price in Kenya? Talisa Technologies (talisaphones.co.ke) stocks the ZTE F660 V9 XPON dual band router, a fibre ONT with built-in WiFi for homes and small offices on FTTH networks. It connects to your fibre line and gives you WiFi on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, wired LAN ports, a phone port, and a USB port, all in one compact unit. Whether you’re searching for a fibre router in Kenya, a GPON ONT for FTTH, an xPON dual band router, or a replacement for a faulty fibre router, the F660 V9 is a proven, widely used choice.

Why Choose the ZTE F660 V9 XPON Router?

Kenyan homes and offices connecting to fibre will find the F660 V9 a dependable, easy-to-live-with unit. It’s built on GPON technology, with up to 2.488Gbps downstream and 1.244Gbps upstream, and supports a reach of up to 20km. The XPON design means it is also made to work on EPON networks on supported firmware, so confirm compatibility with your ISP’s equipment before buying.

The dual-band WiFi is a big plus. The 2.4GHz band gives longer range through walls, while the 5GHz band (Wi-Fi 5, 802.11ac) gives faster, less congested speeds for streaming, video calls, and gaming close to the router. Connect phones, laptops, smart TVs, and CCTV recorders over WiFi, or plug wired devices into the Ethernet ports for the steadiest connection.

It also supports more than just internet. The built-in phone (POTS) port lets you run VoIP voice calls, and it supports IPTV services, VLANs, and IPv6, so it fits typical ISP setups for internet, voice, and video. A USB port lets you share a flash drive or printer on your network. The unit sits on a desk or mounts on a wall, with a quiet, low-power design (under 10W) that suits 24/7 running. Frequently Asked Questions

What is the ZTE F660 V9 price in Kenya?
Pricing varies with market conditions and stock availability. Contact Talisa Technologies directly at talisaphones.co.ke for the current price and any ongoing offers.

Will it work with my ISP’s fibre network?
It works on GPON networks and is designed to support EPON on xPON firmware, but an ONT must be registered and provisioned on your ISP’s OLT. Check with your ISP or tell us your provider, and we’ll help confirm compatibility before you buy.

What’s the difference between SC/APC and SC/UPC?
They are two fibre connector types with different polish and colour (green for APC, blue for UPC), and they must not be mixed. Confirm which connector your fibre line uses.

Is it dual band?
Yes, this version supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi. Note that older F660 versions are 2.4GHz only.

How many devices can connect?
It supports typical home and small office loads across WiFi and its LAN ports. Real capacity depends on usage and your internet package.

Can it be used as a standalone WiFi router without fibre?
No, it’s an ONT designed to connect to a fibre PON network. It needs a fibre connection to provide internet.
