Running last-mile fibre connections from a distribution point to individual homes or businesses? 2 Core Fibre Drop Cable, sold in a 1km reel at Talisa Technologies (talisaphones.co.ke), is a lightweight, self-supporting fibre optic cable purpose-built for FTTH (Fibre to the Home) subscriber drops. If you've been searching for the price of 2 core fibre drop cable in Kenya, this cable is the standard choice for ISPs and installers connecting individual customer premises to the wider fibre network.

Built for last-mile FTTH deployment, this drop cable is a top choice for anyone searching for fibre drop cable in Kenya, GJXH self-supporting fibre cable, or a 2 core FTTH cable for home connections.

Why Choose This 2 Core Fibre Drop Cable from Talisa Technologies?

Drop cable is the final stretch of fibre that connects a distribution point, such as a FAT box or pole-mounted splitter, directly to a customer's home or office, and this cable is engineered specifically for that job. Its self-supporting "figure-8" design includes a built-in steel or FRP (fibre reinforced plastic) messenger wire alongside the fibre core, allowing it to be strung aerially between a pole and a building without needing a separate support cable, significantly speeding up installation. The 2 core configuration carries two individual optical fibres, typically G.657A bend-insensitive fibre, which tolerates the tight bends and corners common in residential and rooftop installations without a significant increase in signal loss. Its tough, UV-stabilized outer jacket protects against sun exposure, rain, and general outdoor wear, making it dependable for years of use once installed. Being lightweight and flexible, it's easy for technicians to route around buildings, through ducting, or along walls to reach the final termination point at the customer's premises.
