Netis ST3108C 8-Port Fast Ethernet Switch (New)

Netis ST3108C 8-Port Fast Ethernet Switch – Talisa Technologies

Searching for the Netis ST3108C price in Kenya? Talisa Technologies (talisaphones.co.ke) stocks the genuine Netis ST3108C, a compact plug-and-play switch that turns one network cable into eight wired connections. Whether you’re looking for a network switch in Kenya, an 8-port Ethernet splitter for your router, a switch for CCTV cameras, or an easy way to connect more PCs, printers, and TVs, the ST3108C is a simple, affordable fix for homes, small offices, and shops.

Why Choose the Netis ST3108C?

The ST3108C gives you eight 10/100Mbps auto-negotiating RJ45 ports, so each port automatically picks the best speed and duplex mode for the device you plug in. Auto MDI/MDIX means any standard Ethernet cable works, with no crossover cables or uplink ports needed. Setup is as simple as it gets: connect the power adapter, plug your router into one port, and your other devices into the rest. There’s nothing to configure.

It’s designed to be reliable. Netis uses 8-pin ports and a patented safety lock that helps prevent network drops caused by loose or damaged plugs, a common cause of unstable connections. Store-and-forward switching, a 3.2Gbps switching capacity, and IEEE 802.3x flow control keep data transfers smooth, so all eight ports can run at full 100Mbps speed together without bottlenecks. A 2K MAC address table handles plenty of connected devices.

It’s also eco-friendly and quiet. Green Ethernet technology adjusts power use based on cable length and link status, saving up to 70% of power when ports are idle or connected to low-power devices. The fanless design runs silently, and a diamond-shaped ventilation pattern helps heat escape, so it suits bedrooms, offices, classrooms, and surveillance setups. The compact plastic case (about 88 x 63 x 21mm) sits neatly on a desk or can be wall-mounted. It works with computers, printers, smart TVs, game consoles, and IP cameras. Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Netis ST3108C price in Kenya?
Pricing varies with market conditions and stock availability. Contact Talisa Technologies directly at talisaphones.co.ke for the current price and any ongoing offers.

Is the Netis ST3108C a Gigabit switch?
No, the ST3108C supports 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet speeds. It’s great for browsing, streaming, printing, and CCTV. If you need Gigabit speeds for fast file transfers or a Gigabit internet plan, ask us about our Gigabit switches.

What’s the difference between the ST3105C and the ST3108C?
The ST3105C has 5 ports and the ST3108C has 8, so choose the ST3108C if you need more wired connections. Both offer the same 10/100Mbps speeds, Green Ethernet, and plug-and-play setup.

Does it support PoE for powering IP cameras?
No, it does not provide Power over Ethernet. Cameras connected to it need their own power supply, or you can use a PoE switch or injector.

Do I need to configure it?
No, it’s an unmanaged plug-and-play switch. Connect the power, plug in your cables, and it works.

Will it slow down my internet?
No, it won’t reduce your internet speed on plans up to 100Mbps. If your plan is faster than 100Mbps, a Gigabit switch is the better choice, since this switch caps each port at 100Mbps.
